- Part data is stored in Supabase with row-level security
- Only you can access your saved parts
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe (we never see your card details)
- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
Permissions Explained
- Downloads: Required to rename downloaded CAD files
- Storage: Saves your preferences and settings
- Tabs/ActiveTab: Detects when you're on McMaster-Carr pages
- Scripting: Injects functionality into McMaster-Carr pages
- Notifications: Alerts you about download status
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe: Payment processing (see Stripe's privacy policy)
- Supabase: Database and authentication
- Vercel: Application hosting
- OpenAI: AI-powered filename generation
